Wheatland Motel

Had a fantastic stay at this motel! The staff were super friendly, considerate, and incredibly accommodating from start to finish. The rooms were clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the outdoor BBQs were a great touch—perfect for cooking and relaxing outside. But the real MVP? They use two-ply toilet paper—not the thin, finger-through sandpaper you get at most places. It’s the little things that show they actually care about their guests’ comfort. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Matt and his wife are so accommodating! Very nice people! The place is so clean and tidy. Matt calls me and my partner “the sisters”. We’ve been to this Motel several times, our go to place when we visit Vulcan for crawfishing. We recommended it to our friends and family as well. God bless Matt! Thanks for everything!!

Highly recommended!!! If you are staying near Vulcan, come stay here! We stayed in room #1, it was super clean, comfortable, and quiet. It had everything to stay even for an extended time like fridge, microwave, stove, coffee maker, kitchen sink, etc. The heating unit worked great and the whole staying experience was awesome, thanks to the mom and pop owners. On top of all that, the price was also super reasonable.

We loved it here! I came into town with my kids to hit up the new waterpark, and thought the Wheatland Motel was the cutest of the options. The front desk gentleman was so very kind, the service was amazing, the one bedroom suite we stayed in was super cute and it had a full kitchen. Great location near the delicious pizza and ice cream place, and great price for our stay. We will definitely come back!

The owner of this motel is so thoughtful. It is a crazy hot day and he took the time to turn on the air conditioning in my room so it was refreshingly cool when I arrived. My room is clean and has everything I might need tidily arranged in the compact area. Check in and check out are simple, the parking is convenient and the price is good. I can see some of the tourist attractions from my window, so this is a very convenient location.

This place is a hidden Gem!! The owners are super friendly and accommodating, the rooms are clean and nice! Kitchette rooms are awesome! Like a little apartment with everything you could need, definitely a great little place to stay, stayed here a few weeks for work and don't have anything bad to say about it, comfy beds, nice tvs everything was great Definitely recommend

A quaint little hotel in the heart of Vulcan I called home for a couple weeks, and was very happy with my stay. I stayed in a room with a kitchenette, full sized fridge and stove and well stocked with utensils it was easy to prepare meals. The rooms were spotless on arrival and were thoroughly cleaned throughout the week. The beds were very comfy and the sheets soft ! The owners go above and beyond to be accommodating, which can be stressful when being on a variable project. They were very understanding with my changing work schedule. I always saw them out and about, talking to customers and cleaning the grounds. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip to Vulcan

A lovely family run old school motel. The bed was comfy and the room was very clean. Great TV and channel selection. Room was equipped with coffee, microwave, plates etc and a fridge. It was also quiet. Great value for your money. Weather a short time stay like me (2 nights) or a long term employee housing, I would recommend this motel. Matt the own obviously takes a lot of pride in his motel.
